While some drivers have an idea of which of the 2015 Honda CR-V‘s colors they want on their new crossover, most of our Metro Detroit residents are surprised to see so many options. To help, we have a quick overview of your interior and exterior color options to let you think about which combination is right for you before you visit us for a test drive or sign the paperwork.
New Exterior Colors
With the CR-V’s recent refresh that brought it a new, more powerful, more efficient engine and a brand new trim level, Honda also included some new exterior colors:
- Copper Sunset Pearl: The new orange color that’s been showing up in commercials for the CR-V.
- Obsidian Blue Pearl: A darker, bolder blue than the 2014’s Twilight Blue Metallic.
- Modern Steel Metallic: This new look of unfinished steel is a favorite among our drivers.
Honda also includes seven colors from the 2014 lineup:
- Basque Red Pearl II
- Crystal Black Pearl
- White Diamond Pearl
- Kona Coffee Metallic
- Mountain Air Metallic
- Alabaster Silver Metallic
- Urban Titanium Metallic
They came back for the 2015 model because they were some of the most popular options for 2014, and whether you choose a new color or one of these returning ones, the style of the CR-V is sure to turn heads. But what about the interior?
The interior of the CR-V can be had in beige, black, or gray and is available in either fabric or leather.
Finding the right combination is a personal choice, but we suggest light interiors like beige or gray on any exterior color and often reserve a black interior for a darker or metallic vehicle. These aren’t rules, but they’re good places to start if you don’t quite know which mix of interior/exterior colors is right for you.
