While we think any of the available trim options make an excellent choice for our Metro Detroit drivers, we thought we should detail the individual¬†2015 Honda CR-V¬†specs for each trim level to give you an idea of which might be better for you. After all, there’s a brand new top-of-the-line trim that debuted just this year. Maybe it’s 2015-Honda-CR-V-2WD-LX-610x260 (1)the right one for you; let’s take a look.

Exploring the Trims

With four trim levels to choose from, the biggest thing that sets these vehicles apart is going to be their features:

  • LX: Honda’s basic CR-V is actually surprisingly advanced, featuring Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, a rearview camera with guidelines, steering wheel-mounted controls for audio and phone, and a touchscreen infotainment system.
  • EX: Stepping up a trim level adds on 17-inch alloy wheels, a multi-angle rearview camera, Honda LaneWatch safety technology, push-button ignition, LED daytime running lights, and more.
  • EX-L: This formerly top-of-the-line trim level is still all decked out with leather as well as a 328-watt stereo system, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seating, and a one-touch power moonroof.
  • Touring: The new top trim level outfits the CR-V with some of the latest in safety tech on top of the EX-L feature, including lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and collision mitigation braking. Safety and style come in one nice package this year.

No matter which of these four trim levels you choose, you’ll have access to all-wheel drive as an option, and the CR-V still has one of the most fuel-efficient engines in its class. The new 2.4L four-cylinder is rated at 185 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque, and each 2015 CR-V 2WD model earns an EPA-estimated 34 highway mpg.*
