If you haven’t been following all of the updates to the Civic too closely, don’t worry, we’ve been keeping track for you. The 2015 Honda Civic didn’t quite receive a redesign, but it does have a brand new trim level on the sedan that gives our Metro Detroit drivers another option when shopping for a stylish, fuel-efficient compact car. That’s another option Honda has ready to help ensure that the Civic can fit your needs just right.
Let’s see what the 2015 Civic Special Edition can do for you.
Exploring the 2015 Civic SE
The new Special Edition trim slides in right between the entry-level LX trim and the formerly mid-range EX to give drivers an option that splits the difference between these two popular trim levels. You’ll find the following on each Civic SE:
- Standard continuously variable transmission (CVT)
- Rearview camera with dynamic guidelines
- Honda LaneWatch blind-spot monitor
- Automatic climate control
- 15-inch alloy wheels
- 7-inch touchscreen display
This is all in addition to the great standard features of the 2015 Civic, like Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, the Honda i-MID infotainment system, the steering wheel-mounted controls, SMS texting, Pandora internet radio, and more. Like we said, it’s not quite a 2015 Honda Civic redesign, but we do think that the sedan’s available Special Edition trim is worth noticing.
One of the Most Efficient Cars
Like all Civics, the 2015 Honda Civic SE is one of the most fuel efficient cars in its class, with its CVT helping the 143-hp four-cylinder engine deliver an EPA-estimated 39 highway mpg and 30 city mpg.* These days, it can be hard to find a small car that delivers on both power and fuel economy, and yet it looks as though Honda has done it again with the Civic Special Edition.
